2024:
This year, The SHARE Institute funded Chinansungwi Relief Hand Organization (CHIREHO) in Malawi to provide needed repairs for a village water borehole. The objective was to reducing the time spent by school-age girls and mothers in walking long distances of up 5km to fetch safe water. The project beneficiaries included all 2,000 inhabitants of the village.
2022:
The SHARE Institute funded a water project in Malawi. The community is very excited about the repair to the boreholes to enable women to have access to water and sanitation. The women are very excited about the availability of clean water.
2023:
The SHARE Institute funded CHIREHO in Malawi to establish functional boreholes and maintenance training to 3 small communities, impacting 1200 individuals by making clean water more readily accessible.
