The Humanitarian Service Organization for Women is an organization that allows widows the opportunity to improve their economic stability through sewing clothing to be sold in local bazaars.

SHARE Sponsored Programs:

2004:

The SHARE Institute awarded a mini-grant to the Humanitarian Service Organization for two widows to purchase sewing machines and materials.  This project was vital for their families since it often was the only source of support and income.

2003:

The SHARE Institute awarded a mini-grant to Humanitarian Services Organization for Women to teach tailoring skills to widows in Afghanistan.  The women were taught to make men's coats and other articles of clothing.  Sewing machines were also purchased for the classes.
